This morning your Colton Firefighters responded to a Commercial Structure Fire near Valley Blvd and Pennsylvania Ave. First arriving units found heavy fire in the rear of a recycling yard with the fire being upgraded to a 2nd Alarm. Thank you to our fellow cooperators for the assistance and station coverage.

Congratulations to our Colton Fire team (Chafing Dreams) of 6 for completing the Ragnar Relay Race. They collectively ran 221 miles over 2 days. Their final time was 32 hours and 33 minutes. Way to represent us boys! We are proud of you.

Swift Water Rescue

At 215 A.M. on April 1, 2026 your Colton Firefighters responded to a report of a person trapped in a wash approximately 20 feet down. Truck Company 211 along with Engine Company 212 and BC403 made quick work setting up a rope rescue system to successfully retrieve the victim and bring them to safety.

Over the last two weeks, your @coltonfirefighters have been busy clearing hazardous trees around Station 213! 🪵 🚒

We turned this maintenance task into a major training win. Captain Correll led an S-212 Chainsaw class, where our crew sharpened their skills in tree felling, bucking and limbing. These techniques are vital for wildland firefighting, allowing us to quickly remove fuel and defend homes during large vegetation fires.
